Butterfly

I don't know my butterflies but couldn't resist this opportunity to shoot him. He was a pretty small guy with plenty of interesting markings.

Note: This is my 43rd consecutive post in 43 days, but the time has come that I am all out of "stuff". Hopefully the weather will bring more in the coming days, but if you don't see anything in a few days it's not for lack of trying. I am very thirsty for something good and am looking...Stay Tuned...

I'm not really good at identifying butterflies either, but I think this one might be a Painted Lady. What a beautiful picture this is.
I can relate to the "out of stuff" syndrome. It happens to me, too, sometimes. Now that the nice weather is here, I hope you can get out there and enjoy yourself.

What a beautiful butterfly you captured! It looks like she has 2 eyes on the bottom portion of her wings.

Good job on your post run. Posting frequently helps to keep people interested in your blog, but everyone needs to skip some days every once in a while. For most of us blogging is not our career but it sure seems like it sometimes, LOL.
