Yesterday was a huge day for me at Goose Lake Prairie! Not only did I find these sandhills not too far from my lens, I also got to see them in action, throating their distinctive calls for all to hear for miles around! It was an amazing day! I saw so many cool things, that I don't have time to post about today, but as a tease, I got some FOY meadowlarks!, along with killdeer, geese & harrier. It was truly a great day!

The Cranes are a treat but to see them vocalizing like this is special.
