It's been a tough year for seeking out warblers after my initial early finds. The forests have leafed out and closed their windows. A few I have found have been in my car as I drive by. I feel pretty lucky just to have these:
Pine Warbler
I've been looking for this guy all spring, concentrating on him in particular for a few weeks. Rattlin Antler told me of his siting and I was lucky enough that he showed up, just as I was leaving. He kept a distance though, unlike when Rattlin spotted him.
He took off pretty quickly, and out of sight.
Yellow Warbler
These guys always look happy to me!

This is an excellent series!! I love the one landing on the branch, you pushed the button at the right time and it is so sharp. Congrats!
oh Hannibal, just more photographic evidence of your great talent! They are beautiful and the shots are awesome.

Hannibal,
What a nice collection of photos! Always love action shots rather than sitting ones..but I take what I can get..
So glad you got to see the Scarlet Tanager..he is a striking bird to see among all those greens leaves!
Your story is, oh, so true! The last shot of the Yellow Warbler is my favorite! No matter how we get them,it's just so nice to see them.
Have fun!
Well, they make it up in quality!
Congrats on the Tanager Hannibal. And the Yellow Warbler is my old favorite.
I would love to be able to see a scarlet tanager - such a pretty red! All the warblers are such sweet little things and it is so fun to come and visit to see what you have shown.
