Killdeer chicks are adorable. I can't resist visiting them almost daily, but so as not to bore you too much, this should be a final post on their progression.
They are growing into their wings...

Nice pics Hannibal. Killdeer are fun creatures to watch. Especially when the adults do the broken wing routine to keep you away from a nest or the youngsters. New to your blog, I like it.

ReplyDeleteYou would never bore me with the killdeer stories Hannibal! I know them well after watching a mom raise her young at my northern home. I'm SO glad the mink missed his shot with the little one. Great photography and would love to see them in their first flights!
