Air Raid

Air Raid, originally uploaded by Hannibals Animals.

You could count every tongue as the geese sounded the alarm in panic when this air raid took place. (The sub-adult bald eagle did not grab any prey.)

Well done!

Your photos are absolutely incredible! Thank you so much for sharing them with your readers.

I'm hoping you might join me in a recent wildlife project we've launched.

Our ultimate goal is to build the go-to platform for documenting all the world's organisms and through doing this we hope to develop an effective way to measure Mother Nature's pulse. By encouraging the masses to document their encounters with nature, we hope to build a powerful force for data collection and an important educational tool for wildlife awareness and preservation.

We hope you'll support us on this mission by joining Project Noah today. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at peter@projectnoah.org & http://www.projectnoah.org

Great capture Hannibal! I bet those geese were alarmed! I know I would have been if i were a goose!

Loved your muskrat shots too, incredible sharpness! Glad to see that you made it back from you trip, to bad that your underwater cam didn't last long but you did get some cool shots while it lasted.

This is awesome Hannibal! I'm laughing (and gasping) at the same time!

Hello Hannibel, ravelled here from Mona's Montana Girl blog and WOW this is an incredible capture - being in the right place at the right time sort of moment. I'm not fond of Canada geese, but glad to learn none were dinner.

Wow, you really CAN see all those pink tongues mid-flock-freak-out. I zoomed in on the eagle, and if I saw talons and a BEAK that size headed toward me, I think I'd freak out, too. Great scene!
