I didn't expect to post a Blue Jay this morning. My weekend was a very productive one, with the weather on my side. I thought I would post plenty of the other shots of new migrants, but when I downloaded this shot, which I didn't expect to be much good, I was shocked. I didn't think, with the Blue Jay landing about 6 feet from me, with its belly toward me, that the colors would be much more than blah. To my surprise, the early morning sun cast a very pleasant mood to this portrait. I was only able to get this one shot before the Blue Jay understood that his landing spot was occupied by humans. You just never know...
