What a cool picture! I have never seen one of those guys. I think you are right though, he doesn't seem to enjoying your capture. I would appreciate your help with my last post. Do you know what the hawk is? My brother captured it this morning in his back yard.
Yea, he does look ticked..but maybe he just felt he needed to do that tough guy look since you were going to talk about his beautiful winter plumage with all its wow colors! :)Actually his plumage reminds me of a porkypine!
The winter plummage is probably what made people first bring them into our country. I had a whole flock here this week that took 99% of the crab apples of the tree in one day!
