Ah.....The Wood Duck...I hate to love them, but I do...I stalk them every year, and come up with crap, well...not the close ups I dream of...Anyway...This one flew into a tree for a different perspective.
I am extemely jealous of this photo and that you got to see him. They are so beautiful. We put up a wood duck box this year at the lake and we ended up w/ red winged blackbirds nesting.
I love this shot! It's so unusual to see ducks in trees.

ReplyDeleteI agree it is strange to see a duck in a tree, this bird must be tricky to shoot with a lens. like the pic.
