Wow, that is a great action shot. They used to run from me like that when I was obsessed with hunting them. Now all I shoot them with is the camera, and it seems they can't tell I have a camera instead of a gun and they still run.
That's funny! My dog is laid up for now and my yard gives way to about 5-6 groundhogs including their offspring and I watch them run and play.....and yes! They are faster than one expects them to be.

Very funny and scary! Now I know if a woodchuck was chasing me, he could definitely catch me! LOL!!
